Great question. Tons of good coaches out there. And I know I’m not for everyone. My approach, insights, and expereince are built on 30 years of being an Employer and reviewing 10,000+ resume and LinkedIn profiles and hiring over a 1,000 and mentoring 100’s. In the last eight years, I’ve been recruiting for various roles. During this time, I’ve built entire teams and companies. A key to that success, something I was mentored early in my career, people make the difference. Corny, sure, but still true. Technology, processes, and money make things happen…but it’s people that innovate and make stuff happen.
I was also let go seven years ago, and it took me 18 months to get another position. It was hard. It was financially draining. My family, including two young boys, came for the journey. With that new perspective from the other side of the table…I understood how broken things are. Good people, great people…struggling to fill roles that good and great employers are looking for.
